The plastic transducer in your transmission can fail under high line pressures, but this kit replaces it with a metal unit that is more rugged, reliable, and durable. The Borg Warner governor pressure solenoid is also heavy-duty and prevents oscillations and debris accumulation, leading to a longer lifespan. The kit comes with an electronic adapter that converts the sensor signal, prevents over pressure codes, and has its own built-in temperature sensor.
