2004.5-2005 GM Duramax LLY PML Reman Long Block Crate Engine

All new pistons, rings, bearings, and gaskets are used throughout. Head studs are used instead of factory torque-to-yield bolts. Cylinders are bored and diamond honed to an oversize specification. The block decks are resurfaced. Crankshaft and camshaft locating pins are upgraded to square keys for additional strength. Oil pump gears are machined for retaining pins to the oil pump shaft. Factory connecting rod bolts are replaced with ARP fasteners. The cylinder heads are completely remanufactured with new valve guides and a 3-angle seat cut. Springs are tested for correct pressures with valves seated and open. Valves are inspected and precision reground or replaced as required. All valves are vacuum tested after assembly to ensure perfect sealing. Engines are assembled with front and rear seals installed, as well as the front cover, rear cover, and oil pan. The assembled engine is spin tested to inspect for correct oil pressure and compression, and the cooling system is pressure tested.

Features all the upgrades of the BTO Series, with the addition of a balanced rotating assembly, a Callies Compstar crankshaft, de-lipped ceramic coated pistons, torque plate honed cylinders, stage 2 camshaft, ARP head studs, new valves and high-performance springs and pushrods.

All cores must be returned to PML Engines for teardown and assessment. Core refunds are pro-rated based on condition, with deductions applied for defects or unusable components.
